Want to quit?
If you're one of the many smokers who would really like to quit smoking
but feel that they haven't enough willpower, then Hypnotherapy may very well
be the answer for you.
Most smokers are now aware of the health risks involved and yet they
continue to smoke........ Many smokers reach the stage where they
actually dislike the habit and yet still carry on smoking even though they
may feel as if the tobacco is controlling their lives.......... Why is
this?
Struggling?
Well, its because the smoking
habit, the desire to smoke, resides in a part of the mind that is, in our
normal daily lives, out of reach - the unconscious mind. The unconscious (or sub-conscious)
mind is a part of our minds that we are not usually aware of and, under
normal circumstances find it difficult to change.
That's why quitting the habit
using willpower or sheer determination alone usually seems like a daily
battle, from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night. Frankly it
is a battle, a battle between your conscious desire to quit and the
unconscious drive to smoke, its frustrating and tiring. People quite often
give up the fight because they are too emotionally exhausted to carry on.
Try the easy way
Luckily Hypnosis can enable
people to tap into their unconscious minds and help them to affect the
changes that they want and even use the power that their unconscious minds
have over their behaviour to help them to be non-smokers instead of
smokers.
So, instead of having to fight
to quit on a daily basis you can choose not to smoke without the pain you
may have associated with that choice in the past.
Is that worth 2 hours of your
time and the price of two or three weeks ciggies?
As an ex-smoker myself I know
how difficult it can be to stop using willpower alone. I also know that
using Hypnotherapy can make it easy and not just for you but also for the
people around you. How do I know that? Because not only did I become a
non-smoker using this method, but successful clients also tell me so.
In fact a large study carried
out in the USA and reported in the New Scientist (vol 136, issue 1845, Oct
1992) concluded that, "Hypnosis is the most effective way to stop
smoking" and that Hypnosis was up to 3 times more effective than NRT
(Nicotine Replacement Therapy - gum, patches etc.).
The only requirements are that
you really want to stop smoking and that you are ready to stop on the day
you book for your treatment.
The single 2 hour session is
intensive and utilises many Hypnotherapeutic techniques along
with elements of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), you enter as a smoker
and leave as a non smoker.
